Dr. Christopher Ellis PT, DPT, m|wodS, C-PS, A-CFMP

Dr. Ellis is a hands-on therapist who thrives at educating his patients. He has worked with military personnel and professional athletes, and strives to help his patients reach higher levels of performance. Being through physical trauma, Dr. Ellis understands what it takes to rehabilitate not only physically, but mentally. His relaxed and warm personality create a positive environment to achieve your goals.

On a Personal Note
Dr. Ellis took the hard road to find physical therapy. In 2002, he fell down an elevator shaft while working as a carpenter, fracturing his pelvis, a lumbar vertebrae, and his wrist. He began physical rehabilitation and several months later, found himself to be pain free and never required surgery or any casting. Dr. Ellis maintains an active lifestyle and continues to play ice hockey and practices Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

AMANDA SALAZAR MOT, OTR/L

Amanda is an experienced therapist who provides therapy from a holistic perspective incorporating medical and physical needs to improve/promote overall health and well-being. She graduated from Chatham University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with children and adults of all ages across a variety of settings. She is passionate about connecting with others in order to ensure individualized, client centered therapy sessions. 

Amanda spends her free time traveling and enjoying outdoor activities with her family. She prioritizes her own physical and mental health through regular strength training, newfound interest in nutrition, and recreational reading. 

Amanda is driven by her own personal health journey with cancer, IVF, and endometriosis-including subsequent surgeries and therapy sessions. The resulting chronic pain and lymphedema inspired her to pursue and provide effective lymphatic interventions to enable individuals by optimizing their abilities to perform activities that are meaningful to them. She strives to help others restore and improve functional abilities, and/or alleviate and eliminate limitations related to their own pain and trauma using a whole mind and body approach. 

Amanda is our Lymphatic Specialist and heads our recovery sessions.

Micah West, Personal trainer

Micah has over 25 years of experience in fitness and holds several certifications such as FMS2, PN2, FAS, ICEI, and Spencer Pilates. As a Functional Movement and Functional Aging Specialist, he can provide a concierge personal trainer experience for seniors and baby boomers. He believes exercise and nutrition are the keys to continuing to do the things you love, for the rest of your life. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build strength, have more energy, maintain independence, or drive the ball farther, Micah can help you get there.
